Wings. T. thamyra and laches
are distinguished from similar species by the medial line that cuts the FW and
HW in half (deVries, 1987). T. thamyra
is larger and somewhat darker. Compared to T.
laches, thamyra has a more
rounded apex and a wavy dark median band on the ventral surface of the
hindwing. As seen in deVries (1987) second figure of andromeda. The species are also separable by their genitalia (L. Miller,
personal communication).
