Taygetis uzza

Morphology: 

Wings. FW length 28-31mm. Sexes slightly dimorphic; distinguished
by the wide rufous margin on the HW underside, which is most conspicuous along
the dentate margin; basal half of HW underside is darker brown (mostly in
male); a submedial reddish line is bordered on either side by yellow (deVries,
1987). When comparing the ocelli of the ventral HW, they are similar in size as
in the holotype.

Distribution: 

Guatemala to
Columbia (deVries, 1987).
